I'm Helen, a a bilingual licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience helping individuals and families navigate life's challenges. My expertise spans working with parents and caregivers in the child welfare system, providing reunification services, supporting post-partum mothers, supporting survivors of domestic violence and those facing major life transitions. As a first-generation Latina, I deeply understand the complexities of cultural differences and societal expectations. I am committed to creating a safe, compassionate space where you can process hardships and find the support you need to heal and grow. I have been trained in evidence-based practices, including Seeking Safety and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Trauma, grief, PTSD, and anxiety can disrupt our ability to function and often surface when we least expect them.
