Hi there, I’m Helen. As a therapist, I would like to start our journey by earnestly getting to know you. I want to hear your story. I’m looking to build a genuine connection because I value our time together. I will use encouragement, advocacy, compassion, validation, a solution-focused approach, and sense of humor as my guiding qualities in our work together. I have worked with clients across the life-span from birth to death with over a decade of experience working with children, teens and families as well as two years of experience as a hospice social worker. I am currently accepting telehealth clients only. My areas of specialty are trauma, aging, complex family systems, parenting support, ADHD, chronic pain/illness, attachment, anxiety, grief, and anger management. The primary modalities I use are EMDR, IFS, CBT, Narrative Therapy, ACT, DBT, and Solution-focused Therapy. I'm not a purist so I like to mix and match to meet your unique needs!
