I am a bilingual (Spanish), licensed, psychologist, psychoanalyst, in practice on the upper west side of Manhattan and the Riverdale section of the Bronx. I teach, supervise and write. After many years of professional experience I have learnt the simple truth that psychological distress is like being tied up in knots. These knots can make us feel " stuck" in patterns that repeat themselves in intimate relationships. In treatment we identify, understand and work out strategies to loosen their hold on you.
