My clients are driven, deeply caring, and reflective. Yet, they are often very self-critical, overwhelmed or numbed by emotions, and stuck in relational patterns. They seek reassurance, and in relationships intimacy and communication is strained. The body may be a source of pain, and they grieve what goes unacknowledged: the family they never had or dreams that never came to be. Therapy can offer us a place of safety, validation, and support so we can begin to view ourselves and relationships anew; cultivating non-judgemental acceptance to gain a better understanding of what motivates us, where we are stuck, and how to move forward.
