My approach to therapy is holistic and integrative. I trained as a psychoanalyst (many years ago!) which emphasizes the exploration of unconscious conflict and early experiences to help understand current struggles. Since then, I’ve trained in couples and sexuality from NYU post doctoral program, as well as group supervision with Esther Perel. I completed William Alanson White’s Eating disorders, Compulsions and Addictions program, and have included cognitive behavioral therapy in my learning. Currently I’m training in AEDP, which helps clients identify and work through difficult emotions, creating greater emotional resilience.
