I received my PsyD in Clinical Child and Family Psychology and have worked in outpatient settings treating individuals of all ages struggling to navigate difficult transitions, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, behavioral difficulties, and relationship struggles. In practice, I have found it critical to be able to draw upon multiple theoretical frameworks to inform treatment that is a good fit for each individual. I use narrative and attachment theories as the basis for treatment conceptualization and work to help patients to identify internal strengths that lead to lasting change. Much of my early training was based on attachment theory and I continue to use this framework with both adults and children. Understanding how the history and patterns of our relational supports or stumbling blocks impact our lives can be an important route to change. I offer walk and talk or outdoor therapy in addition to virtual therapy, as appropriate.
