My name is Oksana Launer and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in CT and Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in MA which allows me the opportunity to work with clients living in either or both states. A little about me- I received my MSW from the Boston College Graduate School of Social Work in 2008. I have over 18 years of experience working primarily with adolescents, adults, and families focusing on the multi-layered challenges of life. I am adept at supporting clients through life transitions and processing trauma and grief. I am an LGBTQ+ ally and work to create an inclusive environment in all client interactions. I bring an empathic and open-minded lens to each session. I aspire to provide a safe space for everyone to connect with their emotions and communicate their lived experiences, grieve losses, process trauma and find glimmers of hope in each day. I also focus on teaching coping strategies to reduce anxiety and improve overall quality of life.
