I am Josef E. Smith, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I am licensed in New York and Florida. After a fruitful 22-year career in the U.S. Army, I finished my education with a Master’s Degree in Social Work (emphasis in Military and their families) from Walden University. I have experience working in outpatient and crisis settings in a rural community. I use a multitude of modalities to help people overcome the stressors and stigma of mental health challenges as well as a trauma-informed approach to every situation.
