About
We are conditioned to avoid pain and we think and behave in certain ways learned through our upbringing, culture and other life experiences. At times the way we interpret situations in our lives can impact the way we relate to others, especially our signifant other, in both a negative and positive way. Therapy gives us the opportunity to reflect on these experiences and interpretations of our world in order to recognize what no longer serves us. Sometimes all we need is the right guidance to get on the right course of action for growth. I have been a therapist for over 20 years, having had the opportunity to work with people of all ages and backgrounds in a variety of settings. I have been trained in several modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, rational emotive therapy, psychodynamics and strengths based therapy. I have a particular interest in Relational Life Therapy.
