I am a National Board Certified Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who provides a welcoming space with a focus on clients' strengths and goals. I use a collaborative approach which ensures clients are always included in their treatment planning and encourages continued engagement. I have a specific interest in working with trauma survivors and adults who are transitioning into another stage in life whether it be college, marriage, divorce, retirement, parenthood, or a new career. I utilize a cognitive-behavioral approach to address how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors impact decision making by identifying and working through triggers that contribute to daily distress. I provide psychoeducation to help clients better understand the impact of symptoms in their lives and teach client-specific coping skills tailored to clients needs.
