I have been a therapist for nearly 40 years and continue to enjoy working with people who desire to make their lives more satisfying and fulfilling. We all have beliefs and patterns of behavior which do not serve us well, and might actually make us more miserable. I know that these beliefs and behaviors are our attempt to make things better, but that they are no longer useful. I also know that they can be changed with effort and patience.
