Greetings! I’m Ashley Childs, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Inner Serenity. I help individuals heal and thrive using EMDR therapy—tailored with both standard and advanced approaches for trauma, stress, and emotional overwhelm. As a certified Vinyasa and Kemetic Yoga instructor, I bring a unique, body-centered approach to therapy that supports healing from the inside out. My style is holistic, compassionate, and deeply client-centered—because I believe you are the expert of your own story. Together, we’ll work to reconnect your mind and body, release what’s been holding you back, and build the inner peace you deserve. I earned my Bachelor’s in Psychology from Hampton University and my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Temple University in 2022. I have gained valuable experience working with two nonprofit organizations, where I focused on supporting individuals in healing from sexual assault, human trafficking, and domestic violence.
