I love working with a diversity of populations. My ideal client has some insight into what he/she is struggling with and a willingness to open up about their pain. I understand that trusting a therapist can be frighting, especially for those who have a history of painful relationships. I am client centered and will work at your pace with the understanding that as we build trust I will start to challenge thoughts and behaviors that are keeping you from meeting your goals. I have been working in mental health for over 25 years and it has taught me that there are multiple solutions to a problem. What works great for one person does not work for someone else, this is the reason for calling my practice Integrative Therapies.
