Hello! I’m Tammy Christman, LPC (VA) and LCPC (MD). I'm so happy to get to know you! I work with clients who have traumas in their past, and want to resolve them, so as to live their best lives in the present! I also work with couples from an EFT perspective. It is important to me to help you realize your goals for a formidable future where you can finally realize wellness, self-compassion, and care, and most importantly-self trust! I work with individuals and couples utilizing a compassionate, but direct approach to help clients realize they are far more powerful than they realize. I specialize in several areas around trauma, including EMDR, IFS, and psychodynamic processes to ensure you start to understand that all your current behaviors/thoughts are there for a reason. The past sometimes influences the present, but need not define your future! I also work with disordered eating, with extensive training based on CEDS principles.
