I have been practicing therapy for over 50 years. My specialty is working with adolescents and their families. I do a lot of family and couples work and find this work to be very joyous. I also have a good number of men on my caseload. I find much joy working with my clients and work on a strength-based model towards the clients' goals. I am psychoanalytically changed as I believe the past affects the present. I insist on working WITH the client as a partner, rather than doing anything TO the client.
