Epictetus once wrote that “we are disturbed, not by things, but by the views we take of them”. By no means does this seek to minimize the events a human person has endured and the suffering that accompanies it, rather it is an acknowledgement that painful things happen, but a person can heal from them. We all seek to live a meaningful life, but that is no easy task. Therapy is more than just being "okay", but it is about individuals living a good life, the life they are meant to live. Counseling is about building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust so that you can begin the healing process. I use an integrated approach to counseling to create the treatment plan that is right for you. I specialize in providing therapeutic support for individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship problems. I also specialize in couple's and marriage counseling.
