I believe therapy is a collaborative process and invite feedback at all stages of our work. I bring to therapy my previous experiences working in creative environments, to help clients foster new perspectives and solutions that fit your unique struggles, identities, and personality. My clients have come from diverse backgrounds and many have experienced abuse, loss, and/or marginalization. Therapy can offer some immediate relief from stress, depression, and anxiety, but I also work with clients to make lasting changes in the way you see and relate to yourself and others. I work with university students, couples, and adults. I work with questions about identity development, family of origin issues, perfectionism, acculturation, shame, coping with the effects of trauma and loss. I am also passionate about social justice and how privilege and power impact the therapeutic relationship. My goal is to empower you to make new decisions that will allow you to be your authentic self.
