I am Irlanda Gomes, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Massachusetts, with 8 years of experience working with adults who seek help with addiction, depression, anxiety, and trauma. I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rivier College and earned my Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in trauma from Lesley University. In my practice, I use a variety of therapeutic approaches including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, strength-based techniques, and solution-focused therapy.
