I am Isabelle Perez, MHC-LP, a Mental Health Counselor at The Soho Center dedicated to helping children, families, and adults navigate life’s challenges and strengthen their relationships. I believe therapy should center on each client’s unique story, strengths, and goals, empowering individuals to build resilience and foster lasting personal growth. Guided by psychological principles of attunement and congruence, I view the therapeutic relationship as a co-created process that nurtures insight, emotional regulation, and genuine change. My therapeutic approach is grounded in person-centered therapy, emphasizing empathy, authenticity, and collaboration. I aim to create a reflective and compassionate space where clients can safely explore their emotions, uncover patterns of thought and behavior, and cultivate deeper self-awareness.
