At the heart of my work is the belief that everyone is doing the best they can with what they have at any given moment. My name is Iva Gojanovic, and I’m an LICSW with over 20 years of experience in mental health, working in schools, residential facilities, and community clinics. These experiences have led me to my current roles as a School Adjustment Counselor and therapist. I love supporting clients in setting clear, meaningful goals and discovering how we can work together to bring those goals to life,whether that means cultivating more fulfilling relationships, adjusting to life’s transitions, or greater life satisfaction. My approach is warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative, drawing from CBT, social-emotional learning, NLP, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy with a dose of humor and the understanding that we are all working on something and all have something to learn and offer.
