Hi! So happy you’re here. Deciding to start therapy is not always an easy thing to do so I am super happy that you have taken the first step. Let’s be real. Life is hard. Life is even harder when we don’t have someone we trust in our corner. Whether it be to process our past, vent about the present, or plan our future, sometimes we just need someone to talk to. Someone who listens, someone who doesn’t interrupt to talk about themselves, or maybe someone who isn’t family. As a first-generation Latinx therapist, I understand these struggles and how difficult it may be to find someone who "just gets it.
