I have had the privilege of working with individuals diagnosed with severe mental illness and persistent emotional disturbance within the residential setting, allowing me to cultivate skills such as conflict resolution, crisis management and skill building as well as continuing to strengthen skills like listening, patience, and the development of a working alliance. I believe that my personal and professional experiences have allowed me to develop a solid belief and understanding that meaningful psychotherapy centered around trust, honesty, and a shared understanding of goals can truly change oneself and the life one wants to lead.
