My name is Jack Stell. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Licensed Substance Use Dependency Professional. I am a Navy veteran - 12 years on four submarines. I am also a survivor of both post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and traumatic brain injury (TBI). My personal experiences and recovery give me a unique perspective and a distinct advantage when working with clients who have had similar experiences. My life and the lives of most of my clients are living examples showing that the effects of trauma and TBI can be reduced and often eliminated. I specialize in the treatment of childhood and adult trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and traumatic brain injury. I treat my clients with respect and empathy. I believe that the effectiveness of therapy done with my clients is directly related to the quality of the relationship between me and my clients.
