About
Therapy facilitates a process that can produce new ways of thinking, feeling, and being. I work with individuals whose struggles have led them to become curious about how life can change. I meet with adults, teenagers, children, and couples who confront anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, grief, relationship issues, creative blocks, unwanted states of mind, spiritual or existential crises, and confusion or concerns about their current circumstances. I work from a contemporary psychoanalytic perspective. In session, I pay attention to themes that emerge in dialogue about whatever comes to mind. Memories, dreams, and associations may invite meaningful insight about the present. I encourage the integration of social and cultural experiences that shape relationships to oneself and others.
