Sometimes we all may feel anxious or depressed but cannot identify the reasons. Other times we might experience mood swings, or have suffered trauma as children, adolescents, young adults and even abused substances to dull the senses. During these times, a therapist can offer you insight into your situations that you may not see. As a partnership, therapist and patient collaborate on goals the patient wishes to strive for, while the therapists skillfully uses tools, experiential techniques, exercises to help affect the change patients seeks. As a Reality, existential therapist, I share with my patients the "choices" they indeed have to improve their lives but may not realize it. Also, I help patients assess how they understand their existence in this life. I have a background in drug and alcohol counseling and can help with those issues as well as others that may arise.
