I have been a licensed clinical social worker for 24 years. We are living in unprecedented times marked by increasing stress and tension, and therapy has become more important than ever. Many people who come to see me find themselves overwhelmed and burnt out by the turmoil and demands of our current world. For some, they simply need a safe place to fully be themselves—to laugh, to cry, and to know they are accepted just as they are. For others, we will take a closer look at the various aspects of their lives and make small adjustments that can lead to meaningful change and lasting peace. I specialize in helping adults manage anxiety, mood disorders, life transitions, and chronic stress. I offer treatment that focuses on practical problem-solving, expression and acceptance of emotions, building coping and communication skills, understanding behavior patterns, and strengthening social and community support.
