My approach is trauma-informed, person-centered with mindfulness intertwined throughout, and provides unbiased, quality care for my clients. I always want a client to feel supported and have a solid foundation by having their trauma addressed first, and gently, as we make progress. I have been an advocate in community mental health for nearly 20 years. I started out in group homes and care management, working my way through various positions in the field while obtaining two Master's Degrees. In a first session, I like to allow clients to have the space to open up about why they have entered into treatment. If they wish to provide deep background information, that is welcome but not necessary. Some questions will be asked for clarification/rapport building.
