About
Sometimes clients feel ambivalent about entering therapy. The concept of therapy may be associated with anxiety, vulnerability, and uncertainty. As a therapist, I aim to provide a supportive and comfortable environment toward client engagement to account for these fears and create a space where clients can feel motivated to invest in themselves. Utilizing a client-centered approach, I prioritize actively listening in session and engaging in collaboration to establish an individualized plan for overcoming personal challenges. Through gaining awareness and uncovering aspects of ourselves, Jackie feels confident clients are able to feel more in control, more motivated to problem-solve, and encouraged to make positive changes in their lives.
