My passion is to help adolescents, adults, and families develop the social and emotional awareness needed to thrive. People do as well as they can, but sometimes need support in order to understand themselves and others. Obstacles can get in the way. I can help those obstacles become opportunities for growth and success through insight, practice, and collaboration. In an empathic, non-judgmental, and relational manner, I have served adolescents and adults for over 30 years in both clinical and academic settings. My areas of specialty are: grief, depression, anxiety, anger, PTSD, emotions, shame, and relationships. I am a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) and am certified in EMDR through EMDRIA.
