I am a transcultural, relational therapist that will never ask you to set a rigid boundary with your migrant parents or shame you for your vices. My goal is to create a safe and empathetic space that focuses on your strengths through a neurological and systemic understanding of thoughts and behaviors. I work closely with those that feel discord in their relationship(s) or find that communication can be cyclical and ineffective. Needs, fears, and thoughts can be expressed in a way that is grounded in self-insight and reciprocity. Being honest can take courage. I offer a warm, direct, and curious approach to explore what is, challenge you, and create strategies for what needs to shift. My practice is non-pathologizing, relational, collaborative, and humorous.
