My ideal clients are adolescents and adults who are ready to break old habitual patterns which perpetuate symptoms and internal conflict. Whether it's anxiety, depression, mood disorders, relationship problems or addiction. The source of the problem lies in defense responses created to avoid painful unconscious material from early childhood and/or other traumatic experiences. Traditional talk therapy is limited in its results because it doesn't get to the root of the problem which lies in the central nervous system and deeper parts of the brain. I specialize in somatic methods such as EMDR and CRM which provides the resourcing necessary for people to safely access traumatic material experienced in childhood and even passed down generationally. The resourcing of CRM creates safety and the neurobiology of healthy attachment necessary to heal the root of mental health symptoms and recurrent maladaptive patterns.
