My ideal client wants to work with me on identifying personal goals, behaviors that limit their success, and resources that will empower them to be successful. They are willing to work as hard as I do. I have devoted much time and energy to understanding how adverse experiences in life have created ways of surviving in the past, but create chaos in the present. My client will experiment with new behaviors between sessions and we will evaluate their progress. I use outcome rating scales to track client self assessment and session rating scales to get my client's assessment of our therapeutic relationship.
