The decision to go to therapy can be a scary one. You may talk about things that you don’t like to reveal about yourself. The thought of opening up like this is frequently intimidating. So, congratulations on taking that first step! The next step is to find a therapist that fits you - let's see if that's me AND I am currently taking new clients. The clients I tend to work best with are – and stop me if you’ve heard this before -the people who want to be there. I am totally willing to build rapport and trust but would rather we not exhaust ourselves by trying to break down walls intended to keep me at arm’s length.
