About
The reason some people experience anxiety and others don't is based on our window of tolerance: the threshold in which we're able to cope with uncomfortable situations and stimuli. - - - Making a mistake - A social gathering - Reading the news - You name it - - - For folks with a narrow window, anything can feel big & hard to manage. This is where spiraling thoughts come in, waking up in the middle of the night, questions of am I good enough, & the inability to make a decision. We CAN'T stop things from happening. What we CAN do, and what I love to do, is help people learn to increase their window. Therapy is where we ease loneliness and deepen connection with ourselves and others. Where we begin to feel safe and ready to make real and lasting change in our lives. Where we gain new understanding & healing that guides us out of the place we're in, to the place we long to be.
