My person-centered approach allows me to connect easily with others. Whether it is your first time or you are therapy-experienced, I will take the time to get to know you, explore your unique perspective, and discover what it is you are hoping to address through therapy. As to an ideal client, I don't believe there is such a thing. What is most important is to find a good fit between the client and the therapist. Having a good, trusting therapy relationship is the best predictor of positive change. Wherever you are, whatever you are struggling with, I will work to help you achieve your goals. My specialty areas have developed over time and include the treatment of trauma, PTSD, depressive disorders, life dissatisfaction, relationship troubles, and self-exploration. I consider myself to be client-centered, accepting my clients where they are and choosing the best strategies to help them based on who they are.
