An ideal client for me as a mental health therapist would be someone who is motivated and committed to their own growth and healing. This person would be willing to engage in the therapeutic process, be open to exploring their thoughts, feelings and behaviors, and be willing to try new things and make changes. Their issues may vary widely and could include anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship problems, substance abuse, or any number of other mental health concerns. However, what matters most is that they are willing to work collaboratively with their therapist to identify and address these issues.
