I believe that therapy is a partnership endeavor. Within the context of a warm, empathic therapeutic relationship we can work on your problems together. Utilizing a multi pronged approach I have an interactive style of therapy which incorporates practical, cognitive/'behavioral suggestions regarding the here and now yet have a psychoanalytically informed understanding that also seeks to explore how current dilemmas came to be the way they are. After 30 plus years of experience I believe this is a good combination for many people.
