Have you ever contemplated incorporating counseling in your life but experienced hesitation prior to making that first call? I understand the first step can be daunting and filled with fear of being judged or misunderstood. As a counselor, my primary goal is to break down misconceptions about counseling and provide each client with a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental, and encouraging atmosphere to aid them in overcoming life’s challenges. I work with individuals and couples facing issues within themselves and within their relationships, to include: anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, diminished self-worth, and trauma. It is my goal to assist clients in overcoming negative and intrusive thought processes, strengthening their relationships, rebuilding their sense of self, and learning healthy coping skills. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches when working with individuals and couples to help them meet their counseling goals.
