About
As a therapist, I believe growth happens when we feel safe enough to explore the harder parts of our story. I strive to create that kind of space with clients — warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. My approach draws on CBT and DBT alongside psychodynamic ideas, helping clients develop practical skills to manage the present while understanding the patterns and background that shape it. I earned my MSW from Columbia University and trained at Mount Sinai’s Child & Adolescent Outpatient Clinic where I became deeply interested in resilience and the mind-body connection. I help clients manage anxiety, stress, and life transitions by blending CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic therapy. As a Peruvian-American therapist, I bring a warm, culturally sensitive approach that helps you build coping skills, deepen self-understanding, and feel more grounded and connected.
