I am an experienced psychologist, couple and family therapist and nurse. Having had a career as a nurse clinician and educator before I became a mental health professional I can address a broad range of issues. I enjoy helping people find ways to improve the quality of their lives and their relationships. I believe that, in general, people do the best they can under the circumstances. I also believe that people are most likely made desired change in a positive environment where they feel accepted and respected. My goal is to create that kind of an environment. Welcome. My specialties include loss and grief, couple and family issues, intimacy, addiction, and abuse. I work with individuals, couples, families and groups. I have a special interest in working with caregivers of those suffering from Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. I tailor my approach to client's needs.
