I work most effectively with those who may be facing a life transition (occupational, personal relationship, emotional) or a health challenge. For 10 years I was the Director of Psychosocial Oncology at Rush University Medical Center focusing on the emotional aspects of being diagnosed, undergoing treatment and post treatment for cancer. I worked both with patients and family members who were interested in learning how to cope more adaptively with the stressors in their lives. I continue to work with individuals and family members who are struggling to cope with a medical diagnosis.
