My “ideal” client is someone who has difficulty communicating, in social (family, peer, etc.) situations, or internalizes feelings and thoughts to an unhealthy degree. They want to be more assertive, better regulate their internal state, learn better communication skills, or have better relationships with others. They want these things because they have an earnest desire to connect with others and/or to make a change in their daily life.
