Hi! I’m JaShonda Atkins, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Louisiana and Colorado and the owner of Live Out Loud Counseling and Consulting. I earned my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Louisiana Tech University and have been in the mental health field for 10 years. My approach is goal-oriented and person-centered, focusing on helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Using evidence-based techniques, I provide a supportive space—both in-person and via telehealth—where clients can heal, build resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives. In your first session with me, you can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where we begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. We’ll discuss what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any concerns you have.
