I believe the therapeutic process is a unique, powerful, active, creative, collaborative, and professional relationship that has the potential for individuals to feel a sense of safety, non judgment, validation, empowerment, self-awareness, and self-acceptance. I incorporate the arts, social justice, inclusivity and sex-positivity and utilize an eclectic approach of Multicultural, Feminist, Existential, Relational, DBT, IFS and EMDR therapy that can help foster change, awareness, acceptance and growth. I have experience working with cancer patients and caregivers, elderly adults, women, BIPOC, LGBTQ, first generation, immigrant or diaspora communities in regards to chronic pain, illness, health, trauma, loss, grief, loneliness, life transitions, relationships, anxiety, depression, explorations of race, culture, sexual orientation and gender identity.
