Life can be really tough. My clients often come to me overwhelmed and concerned about their lives - past, present and future - struggling to find true and authentic ways to be in the world. They long for someone to understand them and to believe they're capable of the changes they want to make to live more in line with their values. I strive to be an accepting and supportive presence to begin unpacking past experiences, identifying current values and planning for the future. Relationships are transformative, and that can start in the therapy room with someone who can hold both difficult emotions with you as well as hope. My therapy style is warm, conversational and rooted in self-compassion and self-acceptance. I specialize in treating religious trauma, men's issues and issues related to being part of the LGBTQ+ community.
