My primary focus is on the phenomenon of identity, and the journeys that we all have to embark upon to truly gain a deeper appreciation for our true authentic selves. My therapeutic style is mainly influenced by psychodynamic and client-centered therapies, while integrating aspects of metaphors from literature and Classical Mythology. As so many patients struggle with serious pain and distress, I find it enormously helpful to include humor as an adjunct to adaptive theories and approaches.
