About
I am a long-term student of human nature, owing in part to a skill learned in neurodivergence. I practice therefore from a place of both expertise and my human experience. I use in my practice both strength-based counseling and CBT as well as a variety of other evidence-based therapies. I am an expert in a wide variety of problems from addictions, to trauma and Domestic Violence, to anxiety and depression to name a few. I've worked in severe mental illness in clinical psych. I've worked as a social worker with homeless people, with elderly people, and with people with schizophrenia. In our first session, we will start to get to know each other and with that I will ask about some of your history, some of your stories whether you have experienced trauma, addiction, suicidal ideation, etc. Sure, but I hope to have that within the context of providing a safe and secure and sometimes even fun environment to learn in.
