As a psychologist and psychoanalyst, I aim to help patients understand the trouble in their lives and make significant changes. I believe it is important to take the time to get to know patients' stories. My approach is both collaborative and challenging. Sometimes this involves helping people look at parts of themselves that are painful, or hard to see clearly. Many patients benefit from long-term, intensive therapy, while others find that shorter-term therapy helps them solve immediate problems.
