I specialize in working with anxiety, depression and other aftereffects of trauma and abuse (such as PTSD, uncontrolled anger or addiction). I use powerful somatic methods (including EMDR) to help you work through/resolve thoughts, emotions and physical reactions. I particularly welcome military veterans, first responders, and those abused as children. Many people suffering from ongoing effects of trauma just want to know how to cope. But often more is available than just coping, sometimes much more. Healing is possible. Your body (including your mind) is always trying to heal. I would be honored to participate in this with you. Although I have specialized training and experience in several modalities (trauma, addiction, EMDR, hypnosis), therapy is not only about techniques. It's also about how we form a partnership to address your concerns and accomplish your goals. We work together to help you learn/develop tools and solutions, including many you can immediately use on your own.
