Some clients come in during crisis - after a panic attack, a sudden loss, or a breaking point they can’t name. Others are holding things together on the outside while falling apart inside. They may overthink, withdraw, lash out, feel numb, or just shut down. Not to rebel, but to cope. To escape anxiety, outrun trauma, or quiet the heaviness of grief. Deep down, they’re exhausted. Exhausted from pretending, from wearing masks, from carrying pain and shame that feels unending.
